2. Service Operation

Quiz Quest Arena is a platform operated by Compagnie Quiz and Aventure inc. (the "Company").

The Company is solely responsible for the operation, administration, and development of the service.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of Quiz Quest Arena, you may need to create a user account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree that the information provided under your registration will always be accurate, correct, and up to date.

3. User-Generated Content

Users may create and share quiz content on our platform. By submitting content, you grant Quiz Quest Arena a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute your content on our platform. This shared content is used to improve the user experience by making quizzes available to as many people as possible, thus minimizing the time users spend creating quizzes.

The content that will be shared with other users will not include any sensitive information about user accounts. By default, the only content that will be shared are the quizzes created by users, following an opt-out model. We will be adding an option for users to opt out of sharing and keep their quizzes private if they wish to do so, giving users more control over their content distribution.

4. Prohibited Activities

Users are prohibited from engaging in any unlawful or harmful activities on our platform, including but not limited to:

• Sharing inappropriate content, such as inappropriate usernames or questions that might be racist, abusive, harassing, or otherwise offensive.
• Violating intellectual property rights.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• Engaging in activities that disrupt or interfere with our services and resources, including servers and/or networks.
• Attempting to copy our resources or sell them.
• Using our services for commercial use or to promote content.
• Copying our platform or our games in part or in whole without our written and signed consent.
• Using the name "Quiz Quest Arena" to promote or sell any other application or website.
• Using all or part of our proprietary code without our written and signed consent.

We reserve the right to delete your account and/or your content without warning if you do not comply with our terms and conditions.

Please note that "Quiz Quest Arena" and "quizquestarena.com" is a reserved intellectual property. Quiz Quest Arena is a name reserved only for our application.

6. Platform Intellectual Property

The software code, design, and technical elements of the Quiz Quest Arena platform are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These elements are used by the Company under a valid license granted by the rights holders.

Any reproduction, copying, modification, or unauthorized use of the platform or its code is strictly prohibited.

7. Liability of Developers and Contributors

The developers and contributors who participated in the development of the platform are not responsible for the operation of the service, the management of data, or the business decisions made by the Company.

Any responsibility related to the operation of the platform rests exclusively with the Company.

8. Indemnification

The user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Quiz Quest Arena, the Company, as well as its officers, developers, and collaborators from any claim, damage, loss, or expense resulting from the use of the service or the content published by the user.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws in force in the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada.

Any dispute relating to the use of the platform shall be submitted to the competent courts of the judicial district of Montreal.

10. Service Warranty

The Quiz Quest Arena service is provided "as is" and "as available".

The Company does not guarantee that:

• the platform will be available at all times;
• the service will be free from errors, interruptions, or technical failures;
• the content or quizzes available on the platform will be accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose.

The use of the platform is at the user's own risk.

The Company does not guarantee that the platform will meet the specific needs of users or particular educational requirements.

11. Service Modification or Termination

Quiz Quest Arena reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time, with or without notice.

The Company shall not be held liable to users or any third party for any modification, suspension, or interruption of the service.

12. Account Suspension or Deletion

Quiz Quest Arena reserves the right to suspend or delete a user account, with or without notice, if a user:

• uses the platform in an abusive or illegal manner;
• publishes inappropriate or harmful content;

Deletion of an account may result in the permanent deletion of data associated with that account.

Quiz Quest Arena shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• network failures;
• hosting service interruptions;
• cyberattacks;
• natural disasters;
• or any other force majeure event.

5. User responsibility

Our users are solely responsible for the content they publish on our platform. Quiz Quest Arena does not endorse the correctness, or the opinion contained in such content.

Any use of the content of our platform happens on the user's own responsibility. The user should always review the content of the quizzes before they are played.

6. Reporting Inappropriate Content

If you believe that some content does not comply with our standards, we invite you to contact us through our contact page.
